Tango
Tango is a habit tracker built around routines rather than isolated checkboxes.
Most habit apps treat each habit as its own separate streak to defend. Tango groups habits into the routines people actually keep — a morning routine, an evening wind-down, a set of health habits — so the day reads as a handful of intentions instead of a long, undifferentiated list.
The Today screen shows only what is scheduled right now, with large touch targets and no ceremony. History and habit detail views build a longer view of consistency through a heatmap and completion statistics, so progress stays visible without turning into pressure.
Habits can sync with Apple Reminders in both directions, letting an existing reminder stay the source of truth for scheduling while Tango tracks completion. Health-related habits can read from Apple Health, and routines and history sync privately across devices through the user’s own iCloud account using CloudKit.
Key features include:
- Habits grouped into named routines
- A Today view scoped to what is scheduled now
- Heatmap history and per-habit completion statistics
- Two-way completion sync with Apple Reminders
- Apple Health integration for health-related habits
- Private iCloud sync through CloudKit
Built with SwiftUI and SwiftData, Tango follows the same product values as the rest of the catalog: local-first data, no analytics or engagement hacks, and a calm interface that gets out of the way.
